The community is invited to join us as we celebrate Bill Smith's 80th birthday! In 1996, Bill Smith received a TAUNY Heritage Award for his work as a singer, storyteller, basketmaker, and keeper of many kinds of traditional knowledge. But he’s been sharing his many talents throughout the North Country and beyond since well before that. TAUNY is pleased to invite all to join in an 80th birthday celebration for Bill Smith on Sunday, May 7th, 2-4pm. Refreshments will be provided, and special guests will share music in Bill’s honor.
