The Ministries in the North Country (MINC) Emergency Fund gives emergency help to low to moderate income households, providing heating assistance, utility shut-off assistance, and help with prescriptions or other urgent needs.

Dale Hobson (poet), Barb Heller (singer/songwriter) and Gretchen Koehler (fiddler) team up to present an afternoon of poems, original songs and compositions. This delightful trio offers thoughtful, funny and heartfelt reflections of North Country life in the form of words, songs and soundscapes.

$10 suggested donations. All proceeds to MINC (Ministries in the North Country) Emergency Fund.

DALE HOBSON
Over the years, Dale has been a printer, small press poetry publisher, publication designer, and a poet. Currently he's the Web manager at North Country Public Radio (NCPR), and regularly posts his poetry and contributes to the "All In" and I"n Box" blogs. Recently, he spent two weeks as a fellow at the Adirondack Center for Writing's Anne LaBastille Writing Residency where he wrote a number of poems.

BARB HELLER
A singer and guitarist in the North Country for over three decades, Barb has shared her live music with thousands and taught hundreds of students how to play fingerstyle guitar. On staff at North Country Public Radio for over 30 years, on Thursdays she host the Radio show "String Fever" 3:00-5:00 PM.

GRETCHEN KOEHLER
A fiddler since the age of 5, Gretchen grew up in a musical family surrounded by the rich sounds of old time fiddling. She was inducted into the North American Fiddlers' Hall of Fame (NY State rep.) and was honored with a Heritage Award from Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY) for her work preserving the region's musical traditions. www.gretchenkoehler.com
