CLASSES

Pre-schoolers and their caregivers are invited to join musician Gretchen Koehler to play, dance and snuggle to live fiddle music. This series of four gatherings will include traditional folk dances, music for free movement, jamming with Gretchen on kitchen instruments, and storytime featuring books with lovable folk music characters. Each session will end with a fiddle lullaby. Specific themes will be announced prior to class. 

BIO

Musician Gretchen Koehler fell in love with the fiddle as a little girl when she realized she could cleverly negotiate out of cleaning her room if she promised to practice every day. As a grown up, she shares her love of traditional fiddling with audiences all over NY State and with her fiddle students, The Madstop Fiddlers, a Potsdam based ensemble of kindergarteners to great-grandparents.
